What is full form of BE?
The word BE is an acronym, and the BE’s full form is “Bachelor of Engineering”. BE is a four-year degree course that is offered by Indian universities like IIT, NIIT central, and state universities. Apart from India, many other countries like the US, China, Germany, etc. recognizes the BE as a graduate degree in Engineering.
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree is equivalent to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) which is also a four-year degree and gives specialization in engineering. There are widespread categories of branches in which the BE degree is given by many governments and private institutions.
Criteria for the BE degree

The duration of the BE degree is usually four years but if a student is going for the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree after his/her diploma then the student will get the lateral entry directly in the second year of the college.
Many universities in India also offer the integrated Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and master’s degree which is of five years. Apart from India, many countries in the world offer a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree of three years, or some offer it as five years courses.
