To clear the confusion of this concept let’s understand it with an example. Let’s say I will go to my office at 7 O clock, now this will sound confusing because no one will understand whether it is 7 in the morning or 7 in the evening. So, to avoid this confusion ‘am’ and ‘pm’ is used. So, when we say 7 am it will represent the 7 in the morning and when we say 7 pm it will represent the 7 in the evening.
